from the left coast, we have a supremely talented band called father tiger. this duo made of singer greg delson and producer john russell craft sharp sounding pop tunes that are reminiscent of erasure and a bit of omd. hot off the presses, the band has unveiled the video for the song ‘shell’ taken off their most recent ep which is available for free from the band.
the video was created with a bit of help of their friends’ submissions via instagram and the end result is quite a feast for the eyes. this is a band to watch and it’s only a matter of time before we drag them across this great land of ours to have them perform at the lost parade.

if you haven’t yet heard the arresting sounds of los angeles’ the present moment, we suggest you change that in a hurry. the brainchild of scott milton in collaboration with the rorshach garden’s philippe munch called ‘loyal to a fault’ is a record jam-packed with songs that harken back to the halcyon days of minimalist synthpop a la depeche mode and new order but offers a refreshing contemporary bent that will entice new listeners and fans of the next wave of new wave.
this is my personal favourite from the new record called ‘feast on fire’. buy the record from the band’s bandcamp page now or get the vinyl from desire records immediately.
like them on facebook here
Have a look at some pictures of the last party. All three bands were simply wonderful!

just a band that we would love absolutely love to have play here at the lost parade! this is the brighton band curxes (pronounced ‘curses’) and this is their new single called ‘spectre’. imagine if siouxsie and the banshees eschewed those guitar thingies and fully embraced synthesizers, that would be curxes. still waiting for a record to come down the pipeline but until then hit up their soundcloud and listen to their arresting tunes they have up for listen. once you’ve done that, remember to show your support by purchasing the music.
this is worth your time.
